1997 - A Humble Beginning
In the year 1997, Marri Retail embarked on a humble beginning with the establishment of its first showroom, Jeans Corner, in Ameerpet, Hyderabad. This marked the initiation of our journey, focusing primarily on men's fashion.
2004 - Diversification and Expansion
Recognizing the evolving needs of our customers, Marri Retail extended its offerings in 2004, introducing the first family mall, JC Brothers, in Dilshuknagar. Additional stores were added in Ameerpet and Kukatpally, alongside the incorporation of three more Jeans Corner outlets.
2008 - Bridal and Groom Attire Solutions
In 2008, a significant milestone was achieved with the establishment of The Chennai Shopping Mall (TCSM). This venture aimed to provide comprehensive solutions for bridal and groom attire. Over time, TCSM expanded its presence beyond Hyderabad into various districts in Telangana and in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka operating 28 Chennai Shopping Malls by the end of the year.
2023 - Diversification for the Middle-Income Segment
Continuing our journey of growth and diversification, in October 2023, Marri Retail proudly opened the first JC Mall. This dedicated shopping destination caters specifically to the middle-income segment, representing a strategic move to broaden our market reach.
Present Day - A Strong Presence
As of today, Marri Retail has established a robust presence with a total of 37 strategically located stores in prime areas. The cumulative floor space of these establishments spans an impressive 9.5 lakh square feet approximately, encompassing the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Our journey is a testament to our commitment to diversity, quality, and meeting the varied needs of our valued customers.
