Marri Retail had a humble beginning in 1997, the journey commenced with the inception of the first showroom of Jeans Corner in Ameerpet, Hyderabad, focusing primarily on men's fashion. Subsequently, in 2004, recognizing the need to extend their offerings to women’s, girls, kids, and family in general, the first family mall - JC Brothers was set up in Ameerpet, and gradually added two more stores in Dilshuknagar and Kukatpally. Concurrently, three more stores of Jeans Corner have been added till date.
In 2009, The first The Chennai Shopping Mall (TCSM)was established, primarily aimed at providing comprehensive solutions for bridal and groom attire. Over time, new stores of TCSM were added, and the geography of operation was extended beyond the twin cities of Hyderabad into various districts in Telangana and Guntur in Andhra Pradesh. At present, we operate 28 Chennai Shopping Malls.
The year 2018 saw the launch of the first showroom of JS Babu Silks, targeting the upmarket and premium segments of the saree market. Presently, the company operates one store of JS Babu Silks. Continuing this journey, in October 2023, the first JC Mall, a dedicated shopping destination for the middle-income segment was opened in Khammam.
Over the years, Marri Retail has expanded its footprint, and has established a strong presence with 37 stores in prime locations and the cumulative floor space of these establishments spans an impressive 6.5 lakh square feet approximately of retail space in the state of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra
